Learning Systems Strategist, Lead

Key Role:

Serve as the contract site lead for an Army client. Work with a Government representative to ensure that all exercise and training requirements are resourced, staff is trained and able to support, and equipment is available and ready. Assist the Army client by consulting, mentoring, and participating in exercise and training planning and preparation. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) with oversight of platform trainers, site administration, and technology experts. Demonstrate mastery of constructive simulations and implementation to support training requirements. Mentor staff to develop, refine, and improve proficiency on all systems and platforms, and direct oversight of all contract requirements. Compose and review executive summaries, whitepapers, trip reports, and standard operating procedures (SOP).

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience training U.S. Army Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support organizations
  • Experience working in an Army Mission Training Complex (MTC)
  • Experience training Army units in command and staff environments at Battalion, Brigade, and higher Echelon levels
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and regulations involved in supporting military training operations and processes
  • Knowledge of Mission Command (MC) systems
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience serving as an MTC site lead or site deputy
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Simulation Operations Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
