OSINT Targeter Analyst

The Challenge:

Do you find yourself constantly looking for more and better information? Do you want a job where you can use your knowledge and research skills to improve national security? Never has the role of an all source analyst been so meaningful. More connected devices, larger storage capacity, and faster connections have resulted in an explosion of available information. The problem facing the intelligence community (IC) is no longer how to get more data – it’s understanding how to turn the data they have into answers. That’s where you come in. With critical thinking and flexibility, you quickly seek out the accurate data sources, sift through the raw data, and turn it into valuable intelligence. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters, protect our national security, and inform our nation's leaders.

As an open source target and analyst on our team, you’ll explore new data sources, create effective data queries, and combine information from disparate sources to support the US Africa Command (USAFRICOM) and operational partners. You’ll assist with performing non-kinetic target analysis and research using a variety of analytic tools and data sources to perform research and analyze priority intelligence targets and problems that support the government mission. You’ll maintain responsibility for creating comprehensive reports to support the client's objectives, including exploiting a variety of components to address mission requirements, develop insights supporting operations, conduct detailed searches on items of interest, and relay pertinent data to the customer. You’ll provide in-depth research and intelligence assessments using all-source and classified information to senior customer officials, including identifying potential issues on cases. You’ll apply expertise in safe research techniques, basic internet security, and common commercial and government analytical tools.
