The Challenge:
Critical decisions are made every single day in the military. What if you could use your analytical skills to help them make informed decisions? With all the information available today, it takes a skilled analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. As a threat analyst targeter, you use your specialized all-source research experience and your attention to detail to develop intelligence products to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to protect our national security.
As a threat analyst targeter on our team, you’ll help your client understand and leveraging knowledge of intelligence tools to make qualitative and quantitative assessments and predictions concerning transnational and counter-proliferation or counter-procurement entities of interest and use data collection, exploitation and analysis expertise to support the development of analytical products in the areas of force protection, indications and warnings, counterthreat, all source intelligence integration, and information assessments. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources focusing on all-source research. You’ll validate information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for decision makers. As the authority on all-source intelligence, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in a wide range of topics and geographies, including transnational criminal networks, illicit finance and procurement, military capabilities, leadership intentions, and network analysis and share your methodologies with other analysts. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You Have:
-5+ years of experience with intelligence analysis or intelligence research
-3+ years of experience with providing analytical support to one or more military operations, regional task forces, or law enforcement elements
-3+ years of experience with open source intelligence collection and analysis
-Experience with DoD and IC intelligence technical tools, methodologies, regulations, and policies
-Ability to research, analyze, and fuse complex data sets and generate leads to advance dynamic objectives collection and analysis
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with weapons proliferation analysis
-Experience with using network development tools
-Experience with the targeting life cycle
-Experience with intelligence analysis in direct support of DoD and IC operations
-Knowledge of HUMINT and HUMINT analysis
-Knowledge of DoD and IC tradecraft as it applies to open source and social media
-Knowledge of the European AOR and combatant command structure
-Knowledge of the languages found in the European AOR
-MA or MS degree
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
