Aviation Platform Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:

Design, implement, and maintain organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Provide in-depth understanding and expertise to one or more aspects of Army aircraft, missions, processes, and culture. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise to client objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience with U.S. Army aviation platforms

• Experience with the Modular Open Systems Approach, modeling and simulation, joint kill web development, requirements management, attack and reconnaissance operations, Electronic Warfare, Mission System Integration and Unmanned System Operations

• Experience with capability development, obsolescence, technical designs, and integration

• Knowledge of U.S. Army Operations, Army Aviation/Joint Operations, Combined Operations and Future Vertical Lift

• Knowledge of Army rotary wing aircraft systems, operations, and training

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience as a U.S. Army rotary wing aircraft operator, such as Instructor or Standardization Pilot, or acquisition professional

• Knowledge of AS9100, AS9110, and AR 95-20

• Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
