ETL Engineer, Senior

As a seasoned data engineer, you have the chance to lead the development and deployment of the pipelines and platforms that make this data meaningful. What’s more, you’ll have the chance to drive the growth of Booz Allen’s Data Ops capabilities while guiding a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, data scientists, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment. We’re looking for someone like you to take the lead in helping our clients meet their mission.

This is an opportunity to oversee the performance of data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. Managing a team of engineers, you’ll have the chance to architect data systems, stand up data platforms, build out ETL pipelines, write custom code, interface with data stores, perform data ingestion and build data models. From performing analytical exploration and examination of data to supporting the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms, you’ll guide your team to solve our clients’ most pressing challenges.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with Extract, Translate and Load (ETL) software translating between multiple file formats using scripting languages, ETL tools and methodologies

  • Experience with Informatica Software

  • Ability to develop, manage, maintain, and evaluate state-of-the-art extraction, translation and loading tools and methodologies

  • Ability to lead a team and provide subject matter support to provision information technology and ETL

  • Top Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in information technology, software development or software design

  • Knowledge of methodology federal information system policies, including NIST 800.53, FISMA, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), or configuration management

  • Bachelor's degree in an information technology or computer engineering field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
