As a Systems Engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape systems engineering support by leading the sustainment of current portable training simulators and the creation of new portable training simulators. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions, including the latest in immersive technologies. You’ll grow your skills by merging systems engineering and operational requirements to create deliverable solutions. You’ll provide systems engineering support for the sustainment and development of these training systems with expertise in technical planning, management, and systems engineering processes to develop and manage the system and technical product development. You’ll provide systems engineering, analysis efforts, technical interchange meetings, and direct assistance to the program management office with tasking for the design and fielding of these portable training systems. You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in multi discipline systems engineering, including engineering management plan development, verification of requirements, and architectural design implementation
  • 10+ years of experience with an Integrated Program Team (IPT)
  • Experience with systems performance evaluation, system specifications, technical constraints, environmental constraints, analysis of alternatives, risk management, conflict or deficiency identification, and mitigation strategies
  • Experience with developing, reviewing, and finalizing systems documentation, including reviewing documents for compliance with program technical and programmatic requirements
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
  • Active Secret clearance
  • MA or MS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with leading or supervising a team of professionals multiple disciplines
  • MA or MS degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics
