Payroll Processor

Key Role:

Process employee changes and data entry related to payroll for over 30,000 U.S. employees. Upload files, assist with year-end processing, military leave, expatriate payroll, short term disability, tax and wage adjustments, and auditing, and provide Tier 3 support for staff. Assist with special processing, including manual checks, assistance with reconciliations, and interface management. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with payroll systems

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, filtering, and search functions

  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll, including expatriate employees and military pay

  • Ability to calculate and process large volume payroll

  • Ability to provide customer service in verbal and written delivery

  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a cooperative team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with ADP, Workday, or Ceridian

  • CPP or FPC Payroll Certification

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $42,800 - $80,200 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $45,500- $98,000 (annualized USD)
