The Opportunity:
As a lead mechanical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to ensuring our military’s testing facilities are prepared to support cutting-edge technology. We’re looking for a lead mechanical engineer who can use their skills to help modernize their facilities in compliance with local, state, and federal codes while supporting our country’s next generation of tactical weaponry. You’ll lead efforts to build, renovate, and adapt our clients’ facility portfolio based on changing mission requirements. This will require knowledge of mechanical compliance within an energetic manufacturing environment, including industrial systems with strict humidity and temperature requirements and explosion-proof equipment.

At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform DoD weapons testing. Our team is ensuring that the facilities, energy, and infrastructure supporting testing are ready to rise to the challenge of the changing landscape around weapons testing. That’s why we need you, a mechanical engineer who is proficient at completing facility design services and supporting the review of designs for compliance with code and energetic manufacturing processes to help our client realize state-of-the-art facilities through construction and commissioning. Take on exciting challenges in the DoD with us as we improve on our legacy of excellence in U.S. military weapons research, development, testing, and evaluation.
