Business Systems Developer

Key Role:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of digital solutions to support the client's data warehousing, analysis, and visualization needs. Build upon existing data handling processes and create new user-friendly solutions. Serve as a subject matter expert for technical questions and interact daily with the client functional users. Provide guidance and direction to the client in helping them to navigate technical needs and industry best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with developing user driven data ingestion and output processes, including ETL using multiple file types

-Experience with Microsoft Access and Excel, including automation capabilities between both products, pivot table creation and use, and advanced Excel formulas and functions

-Experience with designing and developing user interface (GUI) forms

-Knowledge of third-party query tools, including TOAD or Oracle

-Ability to read, write, and edit SQL and VBA code independently

-Ability to work in large data sets to support issue resolution

-Ability to communicate, gather, and interpret requirements to functional users

-Ability to create and update required IT documentation, including SOPs, desktop guide, MOA and MOU, or change request descriptions

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Business Intelligence software, including IBM Cognos Analytics, Qlik, Tableau, or Microsoft BI

-Experience with the government

-Knowledge of data visualization modeling and reporting practices

-BA or BS degree in CS, MIS, or IT preferred; MA or MS degree in CS, MIS, or IT a plus

-ITLL or PMP Certification
