Combat Operations Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a Combat Systems Operations Specialist, you’ll bring your tactical combat and weapon system development expertise to work alongside thought leaders in Directed Energy research and development projects for DoD. You’ll use your skills and expertise as you research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, test, and ultimately deploy next-generation combat and weapon systems for our warfighters.

Work with us to help develop capabilities that aid in current and future mission requirements related to foreign threats for Navy and Joint-Service environments.

You Have:  

  • 5+ years of experience with supporting Navy or Marine Corps operational, research, development, and intelligence organizations

  • 5+ years of experience with planning, technically directing, coordinating, and controlling engineering activities associated with DoD warfighter solutions and mission application

  • 5+ years of experience with developing, designing, integrating, and testing technical products or systems

  • Experience with Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) initiatives within DoD, including Navy and Marine Corps

  • Experience with developing program plans, work breakdown structures, staffing plans, status reports and situation reports

  • Knowledge of Directed Energy, including with radio frequency and microwave technologies

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

  • Secret clearance 

  • HS diploma or GED  


Nice If You Have:  

  • 2+ years of experience with developing white papers, proposals, and other business development activities 

  • Knowledge of Naval Organizations

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
