Systems Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Identify, analyze, evaluate, and monitor extremely complex and highly sensitive systems and instrumentation, methods, procedures, and processes. Perform all-source scientific and technical intelligence analysis to determine characteristics of various systems and functions of instrumentation. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding the design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. Solve complex information requirements problems via a combination of analytic judgment and proven analytic practices. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodologies and results. Provide work leadership for junior employees. Perform as an advanced consultant with capability knowledge who excels at client delivery, with developed expertise in a specific area. Take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital to help the firm grow its business.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with conducting analysis on US Navy or other armed services warfare programs

-5+ years of experience with developing program plans, work breakdown structures, staffing plans, financial documentation, quality assurance plans and procedures, point papers, status reports, and situation reports

-3+ years of experience with designing and developing high energy lasers (HELs) or electro-optics (EO) systems

-Experience with Research and Development (R&D) portfolios consisting of highly technical or niche engineering programs and missions

-Experience with generating technical, programmatic, and strategic documentation and briefings for high-level stakeholders and sponsors, including GS15, SE, or O5+ government POCs

-Knowledge of HEL/EO-associated technologies, capabilities, limitations, and operational uses

-Ability to collaborate with a geographically disparate, deeply technical, and diverse team consisting of government, industry, and academia stakeholders

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree or 4 years of experience in the Military

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with logistics, sustainment operations, and configuration management

-Experience in Risk Management (identification, tracking, quantifying, and mitigation

-MA or MS degree in an engineering- or science-related field preferred or MBA degree

-PMP Certification
