You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience in using systems engineering techniques and procedures for U.S. Navy or Armed Services radio frequency (RF) transmitter or high-powered microwave (HPM) programs

  • 1+ years of experience with development of sensors and systems for U.S. Navy or Armed Services RF, HPM, or pulsed power systems

  • Ability to assist with the development of systems engineering documentation, including Acquisition Strategies and Roadmaps, Configuration Management (CM) plans, Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), System Requirements Documents (SRDs), Performance Specifications, Requirements Traceability and Verification Matrices (RTVMs), and Test and Evaluation Strategies (TES), and supporting Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) Events, including Systems Requirements Reviews (SRR), System Functional Review, Preliminary Design Review, and Critical Design Review

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science

Nice If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Navy experimental research or systems engineering programs

  • Experience developing model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools in MagicDraw or Innoslate

  • Experience with specific airborne vehicle types

  • Experience authoring and writing SE documentation, including Acquisition Strategies and Roadmaps, CM Plans, SEPs, SRDs, RTVMs, and TES

  • Experience developing schedules in Microsoft Project and DoD risk management practices

  • Knowledge of Navy layered defense concepts including specific target sets

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Science

  • DAWIA Level 2 certification in System, Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering (SPRDE) Test and Evaluation

  • DAWIA Level 3 certification in SPRDE

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
