Navigation Warfare Engineer, Junior

Key Role:

Analyze the development of radio frequency propagation plans for GPS field assessments or exercises involving GPS jammers. Determine output power requirements, specific antenna to be used, and the location and orientation of the antenna. Operate GPS jammers and other equipment during field assessments or exercises and ensure the equipment is operated properly. Analyze proposed radio frequency propagation plans. Conduct modeling and simulation using GIANT, STK, and Builder. Build antenna files for computer modeling. Provide Joint planning support to warfighters for PNT superiority using the Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX) and Joint Planning and Execution System (JPES).

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with scripting in Python

-Experience with radio frequency propagation or GPS

-Experience with using and interpreting the results of static code analysis tools

-Knowledge of geospatial markup languages

-Ability to determine and develop approaches to solutions independently

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with SQL development

-Knowledge of PNT

-Ability to determine and develop approaches to solutions independently

-TS/SCI clearance
