DevOps Engineer, Lead

The Challenge:

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the Aerospace industry? As a DevOps Engineer on our team, you’ll use your development experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll lead efforts to incorporate open source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best, which is to innovate. You’ll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build software solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with software engineering, DevOps, security engineering, or Cloud engineering

  • Experience with integrating and operating DevSecOps technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, or GitLab Continuous Integration (CI)

  • Experience with Kubernetes in a production environment

  • Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP in a production environment
  • Experience with automation tools, including Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform

  • Ability to work collaboratively on an integration and development team

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Cloud deployment using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Gov-Cloud, or Platform One

  • Experience with supporting enterprise platforms leveraging the full suite of AWS resources

  • Experience with various operating system infrastructure, including Linux CentOS, Red Hat, or Ubuntu

  • Experience with scaling large clusters in the cloud

  • Knowledge of Interim Authorization to Test (IATT) and Air Traffic Operations (ATO) processes

  • Knowledge of centralized logging, boundary defense, web application firewalls, system patching, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), and vulnerability scanning

  • Secret clearance

  • MA or MS degree in CS

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 130,000.00 to 180,000.00. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
