Computer and Information Research Scientist

Key Role:

Provide support to the warfighter for tactical systems that require installation, configuration, operational checkout, and technical support. Ensure systems have approved cyber secure configuration loaded and access restrictions to the system are being enforced. Report on the status of systems and mission impacts for non-operational assets, as required and update system documentation to ensure records for tracking purposes are accurate and effective. Perform system upgrades, as required by the program to ensure hardware and software configurations are in alignment with required configurations to ensure full mission capability for the user.

Basic Qualifications:

-Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

-Knowledge of multicast video streams

-Ability to work independently with little supervision

-Ability to provide situational reports and required documentation deliverables

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED
 

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Windows 7 and Windows 10

-Experience with Linux, including RHEL and Ubuntu

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Security+ Certification

-CEH and CISSP certifications
 

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
