Facility Security Officer

Key Role:

Perform a wide range of functions to ensure the protection of firm and government sensitive and classified information. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Analyze innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction; mentor and may supervise team members. Coordinate and monitor aspects of the DoD or other industrial security programs and other security activities, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Conduct highly sensitive security briefings. Coordinate all security education programs. Act as primary liaison with upper management and outside agencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with managing security requirements for sensitive security programs, including DoD
  • 2+ years of experience with managing security for SCI programs
  • Knowledge of NISPOM, ICD, and DoD security requirements
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience with managing security requirements for DoD security programs
  • Completion of the following DCSA and CDSE course, including Facility Security Officer (FSO) Program Management for Possessing Facilities

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office software applications
  • Ability to be detail-oriented
  • Ability to be flexible to move from one task to another and be available for a variety of tasks as the need arises


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
