Systems Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Research, develop, implement, maintain, and enhance system engineering processes and tools, policy, processes, and training. Evaluate potential changes and propose changes to systems engineering policies and practices that apply to all Navy Aviation programs across the entire life cycle of the program. Research and develop systems engineering policy documents, processes, procedures, methods, systems engineering websites, and system engineering tools for government approval. Perform systems engineering to ensure systems engineering processes, methods and tools can transition to the MBSE methodology per the Systems Engineering Transformation (SET). This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 14+ years of experience in engineering

  • Knowledge of Naval systems

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in the use of No Magic MBSE products, including Cameo Systems Modeler

  • Experience using ISEE for SETR checklist management

  • Knowledge of MBSE modeling methods, including Object Oriented Systems Engineering Method (OOSEM)

  • Knowledge of the systems modeling language (SysML)

  • Knowledge of the SETR Process

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Systems Technology, or Electronic Technology

  • Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification
