Key Role:

Perform analysis to identify, define, and document technical data for warfighting systems, Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS ), and Navy Tactical Reference Publications (NTRP) products for naval tactical aircraft and associated operational systems. Analyze the operational suitability of naval aviation platforms, sensors, and systems. Develop, prepare, and manage material required for the operator to safely and effectively employ the aircraft and its warfighting systems. Develop and present Naval Aviation Missions and Capabilities (NAMC) training seminar material to DoD personnel. Perform test planning and analytical evaluation of results for the operational testing of naval aircraft tactical systems.
 

Basic Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience with F/A18 or EA-18G aircraft tactical systems
• Experience as an F/A-18 Pilot or Weapons Systems Officer (WSO)
• Ability to apply analytic expertise to supporting technical exchanges, briefings, and workshops in support of recommended Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs)
• Secret clearance
• BA or BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Physics
• Electronic Attack Weapons School (EAWS) Graduation Certification
• Graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) or Marine Aviation Weapons Training Squadron-1 (MAWTS-1) Weapons Tactics Instructor (WTI). EA-18G pilot or Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO)
