Key Role:
Develop, implement, and manage supply chain streams and solutions. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
-8 years of experience as a Supply Chain Specialist
-Experience with analyzing and interpreting data and trends on vendor performance to develop and improve suppliers through root cause analysis and corrective action where necessary and coordinate with Finance to prepare and monitor the LG department annual budget
-Knowledge of how to develop and monitor supply chain metrics and reporting to ensure accountability and transparency for all supply transactions and monitor key performance indicators, analyzes cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives
-Ability to independently execute supply chain management from request through fulfillment, including procurement requirements and develop and implement supply chain strategies and networks, research supply alternatives to asset requisitioning, ensure timely input, processing of requisitions, coordinate with the Government Purchase Card (GPC) program and large purchase contracting offices, and supervise order to disposition lifecycle for all assets
