Counter Improvised Explosive Device and Asymmetric Warfare Facilitator

Key Role:

Ensure unity of command in supporting Training Readiness Authority (TRA) by analyzing individual and collective Counter Improvised Explosive Device and Asymmetric Warfare (C-IED/AW) training strategies incorporating multiple assets. Coordinate with Garrison and State activities to improve C-IED/AW training facilities, ranges and employ Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS), including Games For Training (GFT) with the management of Training Support-Material Army-wide Tracking System (TS-MATS). Assess, update and deliver C-IED/AW training and associated products. Coordinate with commanders and assist units with planning virtual and live C-IED/AW training. Execute specialized C-IED/AW education and training facilitation for attack the network (AtN), electronic warfare (EW), biometrics, homemade explosives (HME), site exploitation, intelligence support, Defeat the Device (DtD), mobility which includes unmanned ground vehicles, Handheld Detectors (HhD) and route clearance. Synchronize arrival, sustainment, and prioritization for standard and non-standard C-IED/AW equipment and training resources. Assist with planning virtual and live C-IED/AW training across multiple sites and provide continuity and expertise that enables awareness and effective use of assets to support C-IED/AW training.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with the U.S. Army

-4+ years of experience with leading training

-4+ years of experience with developing exercises and delivering exercise support

-4+ years of experience in the counter improvised explosive field

-Experience with deploying

-Experience with biometrics

-Experience with Electronic Warfare (EW)

-HS diploma or GED

-Secret clearance

-Certificate of completion from a foundational instructor or facilitator course, including US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Army Basic Instructor Course, or Association for Talent Development (ATD) Master

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Army National Guard

-Experience as Observer/Controller (OC) 

-Experience with military exercise design and delivery

-Experience in training exercise operational support

-Experience with conducting After Action Reviews (AAR)

-Ability to obtain the Booz Allen Facilitator Training Course and Certification within 180 days of hire

-BA or BS degree
