Commercial Cybersecurity Consultant

Key Role:

Engage clients and lead solutioning to conceptualize, design, and build secure, efficient, and operationally viable Cybersecurity solutions as part of the commercial Cybersecurity consulting practice. Lead the effort in applications, systems, architectures, and infrastructure and oversee the delivery of a portfolio of engagements across multiple clients. Leverage appropriate security products and technologies to protect client systems and information and enable achievement of client objectives. Design and manage innovative integration of Cybersecurity tool sets to enable more automated discovery, remediation, and alerting of network and device vulnerabilities to improve security posture while reducing reliance on manual and labor-intensive options. Oversee the analysis of emerging technologies and design and build solutions to enable secure implementation of new technologies. Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with Cybersecurity consulting, including leading security project delivery teams in private sector organizations

-Experience with SOC Cyber Operations scenarios

-Experience with information security frameworks, including ISO 27001/2, COBIT, or NIST

-Ability to drive the identification and implementation of security solutions

-Ability to provide strategic direction for core enterprise infrastructure and security-supported technologies, including data protection elements, data loss prevention (DLP), tokenization, encryption firewalls, web application firewall (WAF), managed security services, or Cloud services security

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with multiple market verticals, including financial services, healthcare, energy, consumer products, and high-tech

-Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff on functional expertise

-Experience with information security regulations or regulatory bodies
