Cost Analyst, Mid.

Key Role:

Create complete cost estimates for USG projects, including scientific research and training, force protection measures, information technology solutions, facility construction and renovation, and operations and maintenance of facilities. Conduct cost research and documenting results for all required elements for USG projects. Analyze and verify costs within US contractor and subcontractor cost proposals. Assist USG with contractor selection and negotiations by performing cost realism analyses. Support project managers and technical staff with the development of project statements of work (SOW), work breakdown structure (WBS), and pricing support efforts. Serve as a US delegation team member when traveling and work with government program managers and staff on fact-finding missions to project sites and conducting development and review meetings with foreign government officials.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with cost analysis

-Experience with Microsoft Excel

-Experience with completing individual tasks effectively and efficiently

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with the engineering or construction industries

-Experience with project management or working as DoD staff

-Experience with business analytics, cost analysis, data analysis, cost modeling, data manipulation, and performance metrics

-Knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

-Ability to apply critical thinking to a wide variety of problems

-Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems

-Ability to develop and comprehend complex cost models

-Ability to be a self-starter and acquire expertise quickly

-Ability to prioritize and balance time across most impactful workstream activities
