Acquisition Management Professional

Key Role:

Assist government procurement agencies with defining proposals and qualifying vendors. Apply expertise in the defense acquisition process to support customers in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policy and procedures. Devise strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of implementation. Use quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction or mitigation approaches for improving acquisition or program planning, control, and execution. Take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital to help the firm grow its business. Develop competency in project and financial management and be involved in managing teams and formulating business strategy. Guide the progress of projects while mentoring junior staff in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with procurement and program management

-Ability to adapt to mission changes

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree
