Electrical Systems Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Perform non-standard configuration, design, development, troubleshooting, and implementation of network systems, including voice, data, and design work that requires considerable engineering skill, creative ability, and independent judgment. Advise internal and external customers on technical issues. Provide technical supervision to junior engineers and technical staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in working with network support administration
  • Experience in working with the design and implementation of upgrades and migrations for CISCO voice, video, local, and wide area networks
  • Ability to configure and maintain equipment in support of voice over internet protocol (IP), video teleconferencing and network management
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to present technical information to highly technical reviewers in verbal or written format
  • Ability to present and defend positions and reach consensus with other technical and non-technical internal and external customers
  • BA or BS degree in CS or Computer Engineering
  • DoD IAT Certification Level 1 or above
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Network+ Certification
  • Voice or video network Certification, including CISCO preferred
