Exercise Planner

Key Role:

Support all aspects of exercise and all activities in support of the Program Manager, maintain responsibility for maintaining exercise documents, and develop all required exercise compliance documents. Develop all exercise supporting documentation required for Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) compliance. Manage VIP coordination and development of VIP invitations as directed by the Program Lead and Program Manager. Develop Master Scenario Events List (MSEL), Ground Truth Documents, and Participant and Observer/Controller feedback and surveys. Oversee exercise writing, documentation protocols, development of scenarios, and Ground Truth documents to ensure compliance with HSEEP protocols. Support the Program Manager at professional conferences, symposia, and other public engagements designed to promote and enhance the program, as directed.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with the US Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations

-Experience with HSEEP and documenting large-scale Public Safety Bomb Squad or Military EOD Exercises

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Naval School for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD) or Hazardous Devices School (HDS) Certification

-TRADOC or an equivalent Service Instructor Training Course Certification

-HSEEP Basic K0146Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suites

-Experience with After Action Reviews

-Experience with briefing senior Government Leadership

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
