Key Role:

Develop advanced wireless technologies and work with clients to develop tailored solutions. Configure and script custom 5G core functionality within virtualized network components and integrate several technical disciplines to develop solutions to challenging problems. Provide a fast path to advanced technology deployment.  

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with cellular wireless communication systems, including LTE, WCMDA, and GSM
• Experience with 3GPP Standards Documents and Technologies
• Experience with NFV and SDN mechanisms for 5G network functions implementation or containerization
• Experience with implementing native and virtualized 5G networks and services based on SDN and NFV
• Experience with 5G network slice subnet and network slice instantiation
• Experience with creating custom Network Slice Templates
• Knowledge of specific cellular network architecture components and concepts, including session management, user plane functions, and control plane functions
• Ability to perform initial modeling and simulation activities, lead an engineering team, participate in business development activities, write whitepapers, and develop IR&D proposals
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• BS degree in Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with diverse vendor solutions in the cellular technology domain
• Knowledge of modern cellular technologies and concepts, including Network Slicing, Network Function Virtualization, and Software Defined Networking
• Ability to propose or design customizations to existing cellular technologies or test beds
• MA or MS degree in Engineering
