​ Key Role:

Support the monthly close and general accounting processes for the company as a member of the corporate accounting general ledger team. Prepare and review account reconciliations, journal entries, and fluctuation analyses for key business processes, including prepaid assets and payroll related accruals. Provider support on property lease accounting and supporting cost accounting allocations. Prepare GL account reconciliations, journal entries, fluctuation analyses, review lease terms, and other related analysis. Support company financial, internal, and regulatory audits and contribute to ongoing process improvement projects. Work closely with other teams within the finance organization to ensure internal controls are followed and proper accounting is performed in a timely and accurate manner and assist with evolving business needs and special projects, as requested. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with accounting
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office products, including advanced Excel  
  • Knowledge of compliance for the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley, including identifying and documenting key controls and processes, assisting with remediation activities, and supporting internal controls testing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Experience with government cost accounting standards
  • Ability to handle details, multi-task, and prioritize changing objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be a team player who can work independently and in a cross-functional environment
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating with all levels of staff
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Licensed or candidate CPA Certification

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $60,000 to $70,000 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $80,000 to $90,000 (annualized USD)
