Analytics System Administrator

We’re looking for a systems administrator who has a background in supporting data and analytics to support the daily operations of a cutting-edge cloud data platform and associated jobs on a high visibility and high impact analytics program for a fortune 500 company.

As an analytics systems administrator on this exciting yet critical project, you’ll ensure the data pipelines and all its operations are functional and available. You will constantly look for ways to make operations better through automation and innovation using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You’ll help internal customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement on a mission critical project. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in advanced data and analytics technologies and solutions. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together as a team. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting operational systems

  • 2+ years of experience with ETL pipelines, including SQL and Python

  • 2+ years of experience with database technologies

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Ability to solve challenges and while maintaining a positive attitude

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment

  • Experience with cloud technologies and analytics platforms, including Databricks

  • Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and communicate with multiple functional groups

  • Ability to show dedication and commitment to quality, accuracy, timeliness, and process improvement

  • Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
