As a Lead on the Legal Department’s Intellectual Property Team, this legal counsel position will partner with the business to facilitate the development and sale of products and solutions to Federal Government and Commercial Customers. Working in close collaboration with others in the Intellectual Property Team and other Legal Department team members, this role will counsel businesses on intellectual property matters, leverage best practices to mitigate risk, ensure a consistent approach to development and sales across supported market groups, and operationalize a broad range of risk mitigation techniques to assist broader business goals. This role will assist in providing subject matter expertise on intellectual property protection, on product compliance regulatory regimes in the government and commercial sectors, and coordinate with other subject matter experts in the Legal Department and across the firm to position the business for compliance with anticipated ethical and regulatory regimes. The Counsel will leverage expertise in federal government contracts counseling, data rights, contract negotiations, and software or solutions sales to anticipate risk and protect the firm’s strategic investments.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $121,200.00 to $275,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
