BigFix Asset Management Engineer

Apply knowledge of Cybersecurity engineering services to Asset Management and Asset Protection solutions, including HCL BigFix Platform and related modules to support operationally viable continuous monitoring solutions for a large enterprise environment. Engage multiple stakeholders and leverage expertise to perform day-to-day activities required to operate the BigFix solution in distributed environments. Provide information and data utilized for asset inventories and associated reporting. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform problem resolution regarding incidents and service requests. Provide subject matter expertise on all solution components and modules.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with cyber security, asset management, and asset protection, including BigFix for large enterprise environments
  • 3+ years of experience in assisting with patching and upgrading HCL BigFix applications
  • Experience with configuration management of operating system and applications of popular security benchmarks published by DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides
  • Experience with BigFix, including Asset Discovery, Inventory, Software Distribution, Compliance, Vulnerability Management, and Patch Management
  • Experience with software discovery and reporting using BigFix Inventory
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with testing, distributing, and optimizing application and software packages using HCL BigFix
  • Experience with troubleshooting BigFix client and relay communication issues in a large enterprise environment, supporting IT operations and maintenance Tier I and II role, including ticketing, issue response, and remediation
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Operating Systems, integrating Cybersecurity data using enterprise or custom tools data aggregation and analysis tools, including Splunk
  • Experience with working on DHS Continuous, Diagnostic, and Mitigation Program
  • MCSE certification, MS certification, IBM Certified Administrator including BigFix Lifecycle, BigFix Compliance, or BigFix Inventory V9.5., or Security+ certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
