Business Performance and Data Analyst

Key Role:

Apply tools and languages, including Tableau, SQL, and Python and creative solutions to support intelligence community (IC) client's analytic goals. Identify current data gaps and develop and execute strategies to mine available business data to promote data-driven business decisions. Develop and communicate metrics and score card results, analyze trends, and make recommendations for process improvements. Build and maintain dashboards and standardized reporting to convey current and forecasted organizational performance and new analytic insights. Strategize with the team to create solutions with a robust focus on automation, scalability, and action-oriented intelligence. Benchmark the organization's performance against industry and other government agencies and make recommendations for improvement. Provide mentorship and guidance to more junior analysts.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience applying business intelligence tools and programming languages to aggregate and analyze data collected from various sources

-Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite

-Ability to synthesize and communicate organizational performance clearly based on information from disparate sources through oral and written formats

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with performance management and identifying and defining performance measures in support of an organization's mission and goals

-Knowledge of overall IC agency processes and policies

-Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating information to senior executives for decision making purposes

-Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills
