The Challenge:
Develop solution architecture (SA) and resolve complex issues in a variety of projects initiated during capture through the implementation of requirements analysis, expertise support, and project supervision. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts throughout the business development life cycle. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions for high-priority technically complex captures and proposals. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions and mentor or supervise technical teams in both firm and technical competencies. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
You Have:
-8+ years of experience in a senior business development role with annual revenue and sales targets at a major federal government contractor focused on technology services sales
-Experience with driving technical solutions through the entire business development life cycle, including those opportunities 18 to 24 months ahead of solicitation release
-Knowledge of one or more of the following disciplines: software development and architecture, C4ISR and electronics design, aerospace and aeronautics, cybersecurity, systems engineering, or physics
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with federal government business development and tactical sales and consultancy
-Experience with identifying and shaping opportunities, defining and developing highly technical and complex solutions, and achieving growth in DoD departments and agencies
-MS degree preferred; PhD degree a plus
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
