Chief Field Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Provide foreign and domestic clients with full spectrum fielding assistance to include strategic direction, technical planning, execution, and operational support for diverse systems and platforms. Assist clients with acquiring appropriate equipment by working directly with industry, government, or international stakeholders. Assure proper integration, training, sustainment, and maintenance once acquired. Lead solution development strategies for large-scale, highly complex problems. Exercise considerable latitude and maintain responsibility for supervision and development of engineering managers.

Basic Qualifications:

· 10+ years of experience as a field engineer contributing to technical planning, engineering, integration, execution, and operational sustainment of diverse weapons system or platform implementations

· 10+ years of experience with building, configuring, deploying, and maintaining systems in the field, including acquiring required equipment or components to build-out of ground, maritime, air, or C5ISR packages under customer procurement efforts

· 5+ years of experience with conducting site surveys prior to installation activities, coordinating resources, maintaining configuration control through audits, and ensuring availability of proper logistics

· Experience as a technical leader, developing excellent client relationships, working in a multi-contractor, on-site, and virtual environment

· Ability to interpret drawings of rack elevations, system component views, wiring interconnect diagrams, wire lists, and networks

· Ability to lead maintenance activities across multiple programs and coordinate training to onsite personnel on developed and installed systems/packages

· Ability to understand and communicate technical ideas, concepts, and thoughts across multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders

· Secret clearance

· BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience with integration, procurement, and life cycle management of IT infrastructure and installation projects, including configuration management, quality management, scheduling, and obsolescence management

· Experience in applying technical expertise, hands-on assistance, and training for both foreign and domestic audiences

· Experience with modern software design and implementation methodologies, including Agile, or DevSecOps

· Knowledge of ground, maritime, air, or C5ISR technologies

· Ability to build rapport and develop, maintain, communicate, and present detailed reports to senior leaders including acting as a point of contact for visiting teams, contractors, or clients

· BS or MS degree in Systems or Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems preferred

· PMP, INCOSE CSEP Certifications preferred
