Commercial Cyber Fusion Center Capability, Senior Manager

Key Role:

Manage and mature a Commercial Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) capability and underlying offerings through excellence by serving in a cyber executive role, while supporting capture, delivery, and expansion on client engagements across different market verticals. Participate in and oversee proposal development, client delivery, project execution, financial management, and risk identification and mitigation. Provide senior leadership to CFC professionals and support delivery of client projects focused on cybersecurity offerings. Lead large project workstreams, synthesize complex data, conduct correlation analysis, and develop high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Orchestrate strategic development, design, implementation, and operation of cutting-edge service offerings that include the following: security operations, cyber strategy, security architecture, threat detection, incident response, and cloud security across multiple technologies. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a traditional Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager or CFC Director role for commercial or government agencies, developing and leading threat detection and response activities, program maturation, and analyst or engineer growth
  • 5+ years of experience in developing cyber strategy by leveraging people, processes, and technology, including building highly technical delivery teams, and working with clients to identify obstacles and construct optimal solutions for specific challenges
  • 5+ years of experience in leading technical project delivery with commercial or government clients to design and implement cybersecurity program strategies
  • Experience with information security programs, regulations, and risk management frameworks, including ISO 27001/2, COBIT, NIST 800-30, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA, and GDPR
  • Experience in multiple CFC capabilities, including Incident Response, Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM), Security Detection Engineering, Vulnerability Management and Attack Surface Management, Threat Hunting, and Security Testing
  • Ability to work with senior client partners and executive officers to foster positive client and vendor relationships, identify new business opportunities with existing clients, and develop mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Ability to design and integrate security solutions to address enterprise risks and exposure
  • Ability to be a self-starter, thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment, lead and mentor others, work independently, and foster collaborative environments while leading multiple projects and fast-paced delivery teams across challenging commercial and consulting environments
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Quality Assurance, Quality Control and managing or leading functional teams to meet or exceed client expectations
  • Experience in financial services, software & high tech, energy, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, automotive, or manufacturing fields
  • Experience in cybersecurity, including CFC capability areas
  • Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff on functional expertise
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze multiple views and data sets
  • Ability to lead large or complex cybersecurity capability projects for Fortune 500 clients, including the implementation of processes and technologies for full-scope cybersecurity programs and be goal oriented and results driven
  • Possession of strong project management skills, including in finance, resource management, planning, and delivery execution
  • Possession of excellent client presentation and facilitation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a cyber or technical field preferred; Master’s degree a plus
  • CISSP, CISM, or a similar certification preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
