Communications Strategist, Mid

Key Role:
Work as a mid-level internal communications professional in a government client-facing role supporting an employee health and wellness program. Analyze and execute tailored communications plans to gain understanding and stakeholder buy-in of client initiatives. Draft and edit internal and enterprise-wide news and information to inform the client's workforce, including weekly workforce newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, and articles. Develop and manage content for the wellness program's website, including blog posts, articles, and leadership messages, and create collateral content, as needed. Coordinate and host monthly "spotlight" events to highlight programs and initiatives of importance to the client and its workforce. Deliver monthly website and communications metrics report to client leadership. This role is 100% on client site.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience in a professional work environment

-Knowledge of website content management systems, including WordPress

-Ability to interact with senior government leaders, including making recommendations to advance the client's vision

-Ability to develop a network of communications professional within the client space to collaborate with and learn from

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in the strategic communications field

-Experience with writing and editing material in a journalistic style

-Experience with social media marketing

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree in International Affairs, Communications, Information Sciences, or Marketing

Clearance:
