Compensation Specialist, Junior

Key Role:

Work as part of a dynamic team of internal compensation consultants. Participate in salary surveys and perform competitive market analysis for salary review and planning. Support cyclical compensation activities. Provide direct support of Workday activities to include preparing data for submission to Information Services, testing, validating, auditing, and reporting. Maintain and ensure integrity of the firm’s compensation data software, MarketPay, including refreshing compensation data for accuracy. Perform analysis and work collaboratively with corporate partners to offer guidance on compensation related matters, such as out of guidelines compensation transactions. This position is open to remote delivery from any location in the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with working in a professional environment in a compensation role 
  • Experience with using one or more of the following for data analyses: VBA, Excel, R, Python, Tableau, or SAS 
  • Ability to hold a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness for completion of projects is required 
  • Ability to work independently and assume responsibilities 
  • BA or BS degree 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Human Resource (HR) technologies, including complex HRIS systems and a track record of creating or maintaining organizational effectiveness, analysis, and planning tools  
  • Experience in a Workday environment
