Compensation Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Leverage subject matter expertise as a compensation and human capital analytics professional to work as part of a dynamic team of internal compensation consultants. Perform quantitative and qualitative compensation analyses in support of broad-based and incentive compensation programs. Collect and organize large quantities of data, conduct analysis, interpret results, draw sound conclusions, and make recommendations. Visualize, articulate, and present problems and concepts in a systematic manner tailored to the audience. Support a dedicated business unit as the primary compensation point of contact, engage as a consultant and advisor to act proactively on talent challenges, and provide end-to-end client service on compensation-related matters. This position is open to remote delivery from any location in the U.S., to include the District of Columbia. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with working in a professional environment in a compensation role, including using critical thinking and critical analysis in one or more of the following fields: compensation, finance, analysis, data mining and optimization, statistics, or data visualization 

-Experience with using one or more of the following for data analyses: VBA, Microsoft Excel, R, Python, Tableau, or SAS 

-Experience with presenting complex information to non-technical audiences ​

-Experience with HR technologies, including complex HRIS systems and a track record of creating or maintaining organizational effectiveness, analysis, and planning tools 

-Ability to apply probability and statistical techniques to analyze large and complex data sets and conduct the development and application of optimization models to support independent assessments of studies, analyses, reports, and cost estimates 

-Ability to hold a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness for the completion of projects

-Ability to work independently and assume responsibilities 

-BA or BS degree   

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in a Workday environment 

-CCP Certification preferred
