Contracts Administrator

The Opportunity:

As a contracts administrator, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and talent for the organization to help manage critical client delivery. We need you to bring your contract management knowledge to our Contracts Team where you’ll be a trusted advisor and a valuable collaborator who finds creative solutions to complex problems.  You will work closely with business development, functional delivery, and finance and acquisition teams providing contract leadership, advice, and support to senior leaders in the firm.

As a contract administrator on our team, you’ll use your expertise to capture, implement, and manage a diverse range of proposals and contracts within our Defense, Civil, and National Security Sectors.  In this role, you’ll support every element of government acquisition, from capture to completion. You’ll review and analyze solicitations for potential risks, assist with strategy and proposal development, and advise leadership on risk-mitigation strategies.  You will participate in meetings with the government and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:  

  • 8+ years of experience with negotiating and administering FAR/DFARS-based contracts and tasks  
  • Experience with cost-reimbursable, time and materials (T&M), and fixed-price contracts with a focus on technically complex delivery, including full lifecycle software development, IT services, and cyber and analytics support
  • Experience with independently administering a fast-paced, high-visibility portfolio
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of experience in contract administration in lieu of a degree 

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with GSA and FEDSIM contracts  
  • Knowledge of OCONUS delivery and COTS procurement, including software or cloud
  • Ability to consult with teams on topics like intellectual property protection, organizational conflicts of interest, and sensitive data protection

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $88,300 - $184,400 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $93,800 - $225,400 (annualized USD)
