Contracts Administrator, Senior

Key Role:

Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration of major contracts for the firm. Analyze and examine estimates of service, material, equipment, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules. Provide initial work authorization and direct actions on contract correspondence, change notices, and modifications. Monitor company performance for conformance to original performance and maintain continual reviews to ensure all terms and conditions are met and the contract is in accordance with legal requirement customer specifications and government regulations. Prepare and disseminate information throughout the company regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination and initiate documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications. Prepare special reports and analyses, as required. Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with current contract administration and negotiation in the DoD or intelligence community (IC)

-Experience with resolving OCI issues

-Experience in establishing agreements with small business prime contractors and the SBA's small business subcontractor rule

-Ability to successfully support a high-volume, diverse workload and demanding clients

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree or 8+ years of experience with contracts
 

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical skills

-Possession of excellent client relationship, development, and management skills with internal and external clients

-MA or MS degree preferred
