Corporate Development Analyst, Lead

Key Role:

Serve the Corporate Development and Strategy team through business diligence support and strategy development. Lead business diligence efforts for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other investments. Lead inorganic strategy development, sourcing initiatives, and business case development with senior leaders of the firm.  Leverage modeling and Excel expertise and strict attention to detail, apply solid comprehension of the federal services market, and show expertise in developing bottoms up waterfall models and financial forecasting to support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence. Execute the M&A process and interact with senior leaders while leveraging excellent problem solving, analytical expertise, and communication and presentation skills. Mentor and provide guidance and oversight to junior team members. Perform an integral, visible role within the Corporate Development team, closely working with a small group of peers and senior leaders and interact with the firm’s leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, government contracting, Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, and investment banking
  • 3+ years of experience with strategy consulting and M&A due diligence
  • Experience managing complex projects across numerous stakeholders and structuring complex problems
  • Experience delivering insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ability to leverage Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation expertise
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, identify issues and risks, and proactively recommend solutions
  • Ability to prioritize work streams appropriately and move quickly among differing tasks
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the federal government services market
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or Economics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
