Corporate Development and Strategy Specialist, Lead

Key Role:

Serve the Corporate Development and Strategy team through business diligence support and strategy development. Lead business diligence efforts for mergers, acquisitions, and other investments. Lead inorganic strategy development and sourcing initiatives with senior leaders of the firm.  Leverage modeling and Excel expertise and strict attention to detail, apply solid comprehension of the federal services market, and show expertise in developing bottoms up waterfall models and financial forecasting to support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence. Execute the M&A process and interact with senior leaders while leveraging excellent problem solving, analytical expertise, and communication and presentation skills. Mentor and provide guidance and oversight to junior team members. Perform an integral, visible role within the Corporate Development team, closely working with a small group of peers and senior leaders and interact with the firm’s leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in strategy consulting and mergers and acquisitions

-Experience with managing complex projects, structuring complex problems,

-Experience delivering insights and recommendations to senior leadership

-Ability to leverage Excel modeling and Powerpoint presentation expertise

-Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, identify issues and risks, and proactively recommend solutions

-Ability to appropriately prioritize work streams and move quickly among differing tasks

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in federal government services market

-Possession of excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

-BA or BS degree in Finance, Business, or Economics preferred; MBA degree a plus
