Corporate IT Auditor

Key Role:
Work as part of Booz Allen Hamilton’s internal audit department. Conduct a series of IT operational- and compliance-based audits and engage in the annual Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) review. Work in a team environment and interact with both external auditors and internal personnel while conducting internal audits. Participate in conducting operational, compliance, and financial audits, including SOX testing and execute the audit plan and programs, including assessment of the adequacy of the design and operational effectiveness of controls and processes. Report to the senior internal auditor or manager and assess the risk and impact of identified issues. Perform follow-up, tracking, and testing management remediation action plans to address issues identified during audits and assist with the reporting and presentation of the audit report and results. This position requires minimal travel.
Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with IT and financial or operational audits

-1+ years of experience with audits and SOX controls

-Knowledge of IT control frameworks, including National Institute of Standards and Framework (NIST), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), or Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT)

-Knowledge of internal audit principles

-Knowledge of auditing IT general controls

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to be highly motivated and interact with coworkers within and outside of internal audits effectively

-Ability to conduct limited travel

-Possession of excellent organizational skills, including strict attention to detail and the reliability of output

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance, CS, or Information Systems

-CISA or CISSP Certification
