Counterintelligence Analyst, Senior

As a counterintelligence (CI) analyst, you will use your specialized functional experience and your attention to detail to develop risk assessments to give leadership the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support Booz Allen’s corporate risk mitigation decisions.

As a CI analyst on our team, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert, performing defensive CI tasks with a focus on corporate risk mitigation to help leadership understand threats and vulnerabilities. Using your comprehensive understanding of CI and intelligence analysis, you will research and analyze disparate data sources to determine context, identify risk and author reports for team and leadership consumption. You will conduct security briefings/debriefings, including those involving international travelers, to assess risk and promote general CI awareness and education. You will also conduct incident response with a customer-service mindset, working in a fast-paced environment with little supervision while maintaining attention to a high-level of detail to ensure transparent communication and task completion. As the authority on CI, your leadership will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into areas such as insider risk and supply chain risk management. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with counterintelligence, all-source or other specialized intelligence analysis within DoD or the Intelligence Community (IC)
  • 5+ years of experience with conducting briefings, presentations and liaison activities with IC, DoD, and cleared academia
  • Experience with conducting peer reviews and editing draft papers
  • Knowledge of IC analytic and tradecraft standards in accordance with ICD 203
  • Ability to conduct classified and unclassified research using IC research tools
  • Ability to multitask and make decisions based on various contextual data sets
  • Top Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with supply chain risk management (SCRM), including assessing system and component criticality, mapping supply chains, identifying critical suppliers, assessing supply chain threat and vulnerability assessment, conducting risk identification and mitigation
  • Experience with open-source intelligence (OSINT)
  • Knowledge of the defense industrial base (DIB)

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
