Creative Studio Project Manager

Key Role:

Serve as a creative studio project manager overseeing several projects in a creative environment, assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and maintain responsibility for determining and acquiring resources needed. Work on projects that may include video, photography, animation, print design, proposal graphics, editing, and formatting. Prioritize the queue of projects, set deadlines for each phase of a project, ensure all job requests are in order before work begins, and schedule and track the status and progress of each creative project until completion. Analyze an internal chargeback or budgeting system to ensure that the work is appropriately distributed, manage the intake process, develop project estimates, coordinate outsourcing for print project, coordinate with external resources, and manage vendor invoices. Build, train, and direct the traffic coordinator to ensure that implemented systems and processes are being followed. Lead weekly traffic meetings with creative team managers to provide updates on progress of active projects and prepare for upcoming projects, gather, analyze, and relay relevant data in weekly traffic meetings with creative managers, and provide solutions for efficiency and improvement on an ongoing basis. Due to the nature of the work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a project management role, including leading, planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing creative projects
  • Experience with working on large, complex programs and extensive program and client expectation management
  • Experience with process and design
  • Ability to be highly organized and process focused and improve continuously
  • Ability to prioritize a workload and manage a delivery team effectively
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with interns
  • Experience in project management software, including FileMaker a plus
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent customer relationship skills
  • Possession of excellent problem solving skills, including strict attention to detail
  • BA or BS degree preferred
  • PMP Certification a plus
