Creative Studio Project Manager

Key Role:

Serve as a creative studio project manager overseeing several projects in a creative environment, assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and maintain responsibility for determining and acquiring resources, as needed. Manage the project scoping and intake process, develop project estimates, coordinate outsourcing for print projects, coordinate with external resources, manage vendor invoices, and act as a liaison between creative team designers, editors, media specialists, production artists, and stakeholders. Prioritize the queue of projects, set deadlines for each phase of a project, ensure all job requests are in order before work begins, and schedule and track the status and progress of each creative project until completion. Build, train, and direct the traffic coordinator to ensure that implemented systems and processes are being followed. Lead weekly pipeline meetings with creative team managers to provide updates on progress of active projects, prepare for upcoming projects, and provide solutions for efficiency and improvement on an ongoing basis. Provide regular and accurate design and financial updates using the PM tool and accounting system to review and process monthly chargebacks. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a project management role, including leading, planning, evaluating, analyzing, or implementing creative projects
  • Experience with working on large, complex programs and extensive program and client expectation management
  • Experience with process and design
  • Ability to be data oriented
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to be highly organized and process focused and improve continuously
  • Ability to prioritize a workload and manage a delivery team effectively
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with an internal agency
  • Experience in project management software, including FileMaker
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent customer relationship skills
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
  • BA or BS degree preferred
  • PMP Certification preferred
