Data Visualization Specialist

Key Role:

Serve as a compliance monitoring data scientist and assist with the design, implementation, and day-to-day operations of the compliance monitoring program. Support the collection, analysis and reporting of data related to the firm's compliance monitoring program, including the development and presentation of regular and ad hoc reports based on data in firm systems and gathered from a variety of teams. Take data from a multitude of sources, identify correlations and discrepancies as well as perform thoughtful analysis. Review data to identify trends that will be used to evaluate and enhance the firm's compliance programs. Apply knowledge of analytical processes, tools, and methods for reporting data analysis and present information in a concise and impactful manner. Assist with designing metrics and reports that inform results of monitoring activities, working with program owners to analyze monitoring results and design program or process enhancements to effectively mitigate risk and meet requirements. Support other ethics and compliance initiatives, as needed. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with compliance, audit, or operational risk
  • Experience with data modeling, reporting infrastructure, design and development, and report creation and maintenance using enterprise reporting tools
  • Knowledge of Tableau and Tableau Server
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate organizational performance clearly based on information from disparate sources through oral and written formats
  • Ability to work closely with clients, peers and senior staff to gather reporting and data requirements to develop processes and analytics for data patterns and trends
  • Ability to work closely with peers and senior staff to ensure understanding of the various data models and solutions that may be needed
  • Ability to provide customized ad-hoc reports, as requested by management by extracting data from databases using available business intelligence tools
  • Ability to be flexible and creative and apply problem solving to working to a resolution
  • Ability to follow tight deadlines and organize and prioritize work
  • BA or BS degree
