Digital Channel Strategist

The Opportunity:

Our Engagement, Communications, and Marketing team is seeking an experienced digital channel strategist to serve as an expert for Booz Allen’s employee communications channels, ensuring compelling content and creative ideas are effectively delivered to employees.

As part of our team, you will develop a deep understanding of client and business partner objectives to help inform high-quality recommendations and solutions. You will proactively identify gaps or opportunities in strategy and provide counsel on approaches for building rich and modern digital experience in support of business objectives and in alignment with the Engagement, Communications, and Marketing function’s digital transformation.

As delegate for our digital capability lead, you will demonstrate leadership in guiding group conversations and influencing the direction of projects. You will coordinate with campaign strategists, account leads, creative professionals, and functional partners to define digital experience project objectives, team roles, timelines, and resources. You will also get hands-on with guiding information architecture recommendations, designing wireframes and comps, building sites and components, and more. Additionally, you will serve as a core member of our Intranet working group and support broader employee digital ecosystem initiatives across the enterprise to develop new and diverse ways to reach employees from our channels. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in an agency or corporate environment

  • Experience developing rich experiences in SharePoint, using out of the box and occasionally custom tools

  • Experience leading digital campaigns or projects with multiple stakeholder groups

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously using project management software

  • Experience translating complex technical ideas and features into easy-to-understand concepts for stakeholders

  • Experience providing strategic counsel based on data and understanding of digital experience best practices

  • Ability to share a work portfolio

  • Associate's degree 

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience building relationships in a matrixed environment, leveraging networks to develop creative digital-first solutions

  • Experience leveraging out-of-the-box tools to build engaging digital experiences

  • Experience with user experience design and design thinking

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

  • Ability to demonstrate an outcome-focused mindset

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage your own time, have a keen eye for detail, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, hybrid environment

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • PMP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
