Digital Content Production Manager

Key Role:

Join a dynamic digital content and web operations team responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and advancing the experience and value of BoozAllen.com.  Serve as the Digital Content Production Manager within the Corporate Affairs team to help develop and deploy consistent and engaging user experience for the firm’s flagship digital property, BoozAllen.com. Work with content creating teams and firm stakeholders to align with business objectives and recommend strategic approaches focused on driving new, customer-centered web experiences that meet business and user goals. Oversee production and publication of web content, including optimized user experience, data insights, engagement trends, industry best practices and search engine optimization (SEO). Develop training programs and materials to enable digital content creation and self-service authoring in the Content Management System (CMS). Organize, manage, and prioritize the content production workflow for the firm’s web site, supported by content and production specialists, front-end developers and digital designers; coordinate with key stakeholders to facilitate production needs. Ensure high-quality control across all published content, documents and links across channels and publishing and approving content within Adobe Marketing Cloud platforms.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a digital operations environment, including managing the production of enterprise websites
  • Experience with enterprise content management platforms
  • Experience with developing training materials and web-based production and strategies
  • Experience with working in a cross-functional team setting, and coordinating with various functional teams, such as content, marketing, corporate communications, brand, and demand generation
  • Experience with managing heavy workload, prioritization, task management and cross-discipline communications 
  • Experience with developing, testing, and improving content, and educating others on learnings to inform consistent and engaging user experiences
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA), and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to apply search engine optimization (SEO) techniques
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Experience with front-end coding with HTML5 and SASS/SCSS
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with working in a professional services firm marketing to B2B or B2G prospects
  • Experience with comfort writing and copyediting online content
  • Ability to apply strategic and creative thinking that uses data to inform decision-making
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal oral and written communications skills
  • Certification in web design, user experience (UX), customer experience (CX), digital marketing, or project management
