Job Description
Key Role:
Collect, analyze, and present digital-related evidence in support of computer investigations. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts and limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Windows, Apple OSX, and Linux
Experience with forensic analysis techniques, including traditional disk image analysis, volatile memory analysis (RAM), and malware analysis, such as binary identification, profiling, and strings
Experience with commercial off the shelf forensics products, including EnCase, SANS SIFT, X-Ways, or Forensic Toolkit (FTK)
Experience with forensic image creation and remote collection and analysis for FTK Enterprise and EnCase Investigator
Ability to maintain case documentation and present forensic findings in support of the corporate mission
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Forensics or Network Security or 3+ years of experience with systems engineering and computing platforms in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with basic computer networking concepts
Experience with installation of common computer hardware and components
Experience with eDiscovery and ESI collections and processing to review platforms
Ability to work in an environment of rapidly changing requirements in support of the corporate mission
ACE, EnCE, GCFE, CCI, GREM, CHFI, GCFA, or CCFP Forensic Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
