Digital Transformation Instructional Designer, Senior

The Challenge:

Are you passionate about helping organizations develop their people and organizations? Are you looking for an opportunity to help modernize government training and learning strategy across digital transformations to increase mission focus? You will use your expertise in learning strategy and instructional design to examine complex organizations through an innovation perspective and make recommendations for improving learning practices and redesigning training. You will act as a liaison to clients, working to help them implement learning strategy. You will be expected to operate with limited supervision and substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. You will also be asked to serve as a Booz Allen practitioner in the management consulting pillars and assist with developing new service offerings and intellectual capital for talent and learning transformation efforts. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

-5+ years of experience with an instructional strategy and design methodologies for adult learners

-3+ years of experience with creating high-quality, interactive, and effective learning solutions for both classroom, web-based, and webinar delivery

-3+ years of experience with supporting dispersed client organizations in the federal or private sector

-1+ years of experience with developing business cases, process design, talent initiative design or launch, product or program development, or making recommendations for improvement

-Experience in technical editing, grammar, and writing for instruction and client reports

-Experience in learning theory and instructional technologies

-Experience with using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar eLearning development software

-Knowledge of how instructional strategy integrates with change management to support organization mission

-Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

-Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with eLearning technologies, including webinar platforms, LMS, or low-code, no-code platforms

-Experience working with cybersecurity or engineering teams

-Experience with change management, strategic planning, culture change, and mid-to-large-scale transformation

-Possession of excellent verbal and written and communication skills

-Master’s degree in Instructional Design or Instructional Technology

-Instructional Design, User Experience, or Human-Centered Design Certification

-Agile and Project Management Certification
